STRESS RELIEF We all live in the same world with evil and as the result all of us get into stressful situations or have something that upsets us. Below I want to offer quick remedies that support nerve system and help rebuilt it.. Just pick the one you will enjoy more or have available ingredients, make your cup of not only healing but also tasty solution and leave your worries behind. Keep in mind that these recipes help on physical level. You also will have to find a way to see the situation under a different angle (best if with humor, or from the other person's prospective.) Combine physical and mental matters together and get over your stress which hurts you much more that even the worst food.
Rosemary. This is a very effective recipe but should be taken only occasionally as regular consumption of rosemary will cause hormonal dis-balance.
1 cup water
2 teaspoons of fresh or 1 teaspoon of dry rosemary
Freshly squeezed lemon juice
Bring the water to boil. Pour over the rosemary and steep for 5 minutes. Strain and add lemon juice and sweeten with honey. Drink while hot.
2) Pineapple. Another really good remedy. It is very energizing, helps to restore nerve cells and is simply delicious. Note: do not use it if pineapple upsets your stomach or if you have ulcers.
1 cup freshly chopped pineapple
1/2 cup fresh pineapple juice
1 inch piece fresh ginger root
1/2 cup of fresh orange juice
Blend all ingredients in a blender.
3) Kale and Carrots. This particular recipe targets not only nerve system but also supports immunity, rejuvenates and nourishes your body, supports work of intestine, helps filter toxins from liver, promotes skin health. You will almost feel the renewed energy coursing through your body as you drink it.
3 to 4 Kale leaves
1/2 cup fresh parsley
4 carrots (wash really well but do not pill as the skin has a lot of good nutrients)
1 apple (best if not pilled but if bought from the store, try to get rid of wax on the skin by dipping your apple into hot water for about 5 minutes)
Run everything through juicer.
4) Valerian root. This is probably one of the most effective ways to calm down your nerves in a natural way, to promote better sleep and to help yourself while recovering depression. You can buy Valerian root in natural pharmacies or online in a form of dry chopped root..
Just get 2-3 pieces of the root and chew it slowly. Do not swallow (but if you do, it won't kill you.) After you chew it, the little left over pieces will not have any nutritional value for you anymore.
You can also buy Valerian pills which are pretty safe and can be taken according to the instruction on the package.
